The Climate Action Network of Higher Education Institutions in Latin America is a collaborative initiative that seeks to unite the efforts of universities, higher level training centers, professional institutes, social innovation agencies and other relevant actors to address climate change and its effects on our region.
By joining this network, your institution will have the opportunity to participate in joint social innovation projects, share knowledge and resources, co-create international teaching experiences, and collaborate in creating innovative solutions to address climate challenges. We invite you to be part of this network and contribute to the sustainable development of Latin America.
Promote inter-institutional collaboration:
Establish alliances between universities, professional training centers, research institutes, non-governmental organizations and other relevant actors to share knowledge, resources and methodologies in the field of climate change.
Promote innovation, research and development:
Promote joint research and innovative projects in areas related to climate change, such as renewable energy, adaptation and mitigation, conservation of ecosystems and biodiversity, among others.
Teaching and training:
Collaborate in the design and implementation of training and education programs on climate change issues, aimed at both professionals and students, to strengthen their skills and knowledge in the area.
Impact on the regional and global agenda:
Actively participate in international forums and events related to climate change, representing the interests and concerns of Latin America, and promoting cooperation and financing to address climate challenges in the region.
