INSPIRING BERLIN YOUTH FOR CLIMATE ACTION

The Climate Justice Camps Berlin training aims to inspire and educate on sustainable solutions to the climate crisis. It engages young students in understanding climate change, its consequences, and local action’s importance for global impact.

It’ll be on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th of July, between 9:00 and 13:00. The CJC will have 25-30 participants from the 8th and 9th grades (14-15 years old students).

About this course

In this two-day climate justice camp, children engage in challenge-based learning to address air pollution in Berlin. They will be able to explore air quality problems, identify sources of pollution and brainstorm innovative solutions.

This course will empower children in climate action

IMPROVED UNDERSTANDING:
Deeper understanding of climate change, its consequences and the importance of climate justice in addressing the crisis.

PRACTICAL SKILLS::
Sustainable practices and decisions that can be adopted in daily life to reduce individual environmental impact.

PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS:
Critical thinking and creative problem solving skills to address climate challenges and contribute to local solutions.

COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS:
Local experts, activists and organizations, to foster a sense of community and participation in climate action.

EMPOWERMENT AND ADVOCACY:
Communication and leadership skills to become an advocate for climate justice, inspiring and mobilizing others for climate action.
